Kim received a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina Honors College. She has more than 16 years of professional marketing and public relations experience, including 14 years as marketing and innovation director at the Herald-Journal/GoUpstate.com. Kim remains active in the business community and serves on numerous local boards, including SAFE Homes, Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium and Oakbrook Preparatory School. She was recognized in 2014 as one of the Direct Marketing News 40 Under 40 national honorees and in 2016 as one of the Moore School’s Distinguished Young Alumni.
